Lion Roar Safaris
Lion Roar Safaris sprouted from humble beginnings within the heart of the beautiful Lowveld.
The story began with a burning desire to be part of the African Bush as often as possible and to make the bush part of our everyday lifestyle.
Situated and operating from Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, we are fortunate to live right on the doorstep of one of the greatest National Parks on Earth – Kruger National Park.
Like all success stories, this one first started off as a dream. The dream then became a reality when we dedicated all our passion, drive, desire, long hours, hard work and souls into it.
Finally, Lion Roar Safaris was born.

What We Do
Lion Roar Safaris Pty Ltd specializes in full day and multiple day (stay over in the Kruger) safaris within the world-renowned Kruger National Park. We offer tailored safaris at affordable rates. We use quality vehicles that are specifically converted for safari purposes. Each vehicle is licensed and has to pass the South African Bureau of Standards test. The safari vehicle can transport 11 people; 9 people seated at the back of the vehicle and 1 in the front, next to the driver. The safari vehicle has a canvas roof cover, as well as canvas on the sides and back of the vehicle.
The canvas can be rolled up and down during the event of rain and undesired weather conditions. Our guides are exceptional; we have a great team of highly professional guides. Each guide has hands-on experience in the field. They all have an immense love and passion for what they do. Some of our guides even have a background in hospitality, medical as well as Health & Safety. All of our guides are knowledgeable and won’t hesitate to share their knowledge with you. To be a Field Guide in the industry, you are required to have the following:

The Kruger National Park is the size of Israel and stretches 360km (220 miles) long from the North to the South. The Kruger Park has a width of about 65km (40 miles) from West to East. It is within these 2 million hectares of sheer wilderness where you can find 500+ bird, 336 tree, 147 mammal, 114 reptile, 49 fish and 34 amphibian species.
